waking up

1) Elton coming to help me try to jump my car.
2) Didn’t work, but before I had to shell out mad money for a diagnostic or buy a new battery, the two truck guy advised me to just go for the super tow truck battery jump. It worked.
3) TLP w/Elton.
4) Elton has been where I have been, and come back. Thank God.
5) My car ran smooth the rest of the day, and I didn’t have to cancel work.
6) Having great lessons today.
7) A free drink at Barefoot today between lessons.
8) Vung Tau with Sergio and Lisa… just hanging out is nice for a change!
9) Sake Lounge… was really fun just hanging out with Haven people and friends. Dan showed up too.
10) Christine looking out for me (I was in better shape after having a Cheesesteak Pita).

Wednesday
1) Having a student who consistently falls below my expectations. It’s teaching me to have patience.
2) Having another student like above.
3) A pleasant last lesson with Q******. He drew me a blueprint of my very own concert venue. And his family got me a gift card to Guitar Center! Hopefully he’ll be back.
4) Seeing Joe at Barefoot.
5) Seeing Kelsey at Barefoot.
6) Iced Coffee from Barefoot.
7) Sharing some of my music with Barefoot people.
8) Having a lesson cancelled, so I had more time to chill at Barefoot.
9) Seeing my cousin for the first time in 20 years (she is my age).
10) Having dinner with my cousin and my parents at Mayflower.
11) Having some dessert and seeing Ted at Paris Baguette.

Thursday
1) Meeting up with Billy at Google.
2) The creepiest lesson ever… now I have a story to tell.
3) Good lessons afterwards.
4) Chatting with S**** for a little while.
5) S****’s comment about how I am a good role model for her kids.
6) The King’s Palace.
7) Good dinner provided by Dave Shin and John Chan.
8) TNG, just having fun, hanging out.
9) Frozo’s!
10) LOST season finale. What nonsense. I am still hooked, though.

1) No work in the morning.
2) Dad’s bomb Pork and Asparagus Noodles
3) The iPod.
4) A nice shower and not rushing to make it to work.
5) Starbucks’ Iced Caramel Macchiato.
6) Making it through a really long teaching day with some great lessons, and two new students (Funny how I have two new students starting the week after I hear that two students are dropping)
7) Seeing Ted and getting some mad, crazy bread/pastries.

Sunday
1) Not waking up for a program.
2) Leftovers.
3) Allen Miao being able to have a late lunch anyway, although under difficult circumstances.
4) Trying out a new Japantown restaurant.
5) Sophie’s Crepes. Chocolate gelato in a crepe is genius.
6) First time Brian and Cyrus and I have hung out in a looooong time.
7) Sharing M83 with Brian (I don’t think Cyrus cares haha) and later Allen Joe.
8) Red Robin’s with most of the SFCAC guys.
9) Trip down memory lane with Goldeneye, Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey, and WWF No Mercy.
10) Some vulnerable sharing.
11) Enjoying Apocalypto with the rest of the SFCAC guys who stayed late.

Monday
1) Not having work on Monday.
2) My mom and dad waiting to eat with me.
3) Making dumplings together… I don’t think we’ve done that together for a long time.
4) Dad’s dumpling sauce.
5) Eating the fresh dumplings!
6) Hearing that Wayne is having a great time in Europe…
7) LOST marathon of Season 1 with Mom and Dad.
